About the Women in Digital Business Programme
The Women in Digital Business programme is digital business training and coaching for women entrepreneurs, developed by the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO).
The programme helps participants build an online presence through social media, messaging apps, or a website, sell online, communicate with customers, and improve daily business processes such as receiving orders, collecting payments, and delivering goods. Each participant completes the programme with a digital action plan built for her own business.
At Afifen Business Consult, the programme is delivered by certified facilitators with practical experience working with Nigerian women entrepreneurs.
Digital tools are not the goal. Business growth is. Every digital skill in this programme is connected to a business result.

How It Is Delivered
Online
The programme is available online through live facilitated sessions and coaching. Participants take part in practical exercises and work with tools they can apply immediately in their businesses.
In Person
In person delivery is available through workshop sessions for cohorts and through partnerships with organisations that want to deliver digital business training to women entrepreneurs in their networks.
Become a WIDB Trainer
Afifen Business Consult also delivers the Women in Digital Business Training of Trainers (TOT).
This training is for people who want to become certified WIDB trainers and deliver the programme to women entrepreneurs themselves. It is delivered by a certified WIDB Lead Coach.
The training covers the full WIDB curriculum: why businesses go digital, building an online presence, selling online, and adapting business processes. It also covers facilitation techniques and trainer skills, so participants learn both the content and how to teach it.
Participants earn a certificate as a WIDB Trainer by submitting an action plan and delivering one WIDB training.
Once certified, you can deliver Women in Digital Business training independently to women entrepreneurs, organisations, and NGOs.
